How the steel is made.
A small crew, a long shop, and a creek out the south door. We don’t farm the weld out. If it’s in the book, it came off this floor.

Measure the ground
A photo of the existing pen, a tape on the alley, a sketch on a feed sack — we start with the dirt, not a catalog spread.

Cut from certified mill
Plate and tube with heat numbers we keep on the job card. Nesting is done in the shop so the drop stays here, not in a dumpster two states away.

Weld it square
Jigs for chutes and panels so a gate that left in April still hangs in November. Structural beads stay visible unless they have to be ground.

Finish once
Sage or ink powder at 3–4 mil, or hot-dip galvanize. Raw interiors where fire or manure would only scar a coating.
Warranty, in writing.
Five years on structural welds against breakage in normal ranch and arena use. One year on powder and hardware. Finish wear from cattle, trailers, and fire is use — not a defect. We will say so in the quote.
